We have set up a course for planners, which aims to increase the knowledge of technically trained people. In the end, this will give them enough knowledge to be able to perform the job of work planner well. We started this training course knowing that the planner has a crucial role in the successful preparation and execution of projects. We especially noticed the need of the industry for planners who are able to reduce failure costs by better planning and calculation. But also to better understand the customer's concerns. In order to find a connection with his maintenance plan or project objectives.

Each participant's personal development plan is discussed. The plan addresses the hard and soft competences expected from a work planner. The client has indicated the extent to which the competencies are required. Based on interviews and tests, LT Group determines where the participant stands in the field. This level is compared to the desired level for the position filled in by the client. From this, a GAP analysis can be made whereby the participant, in addition to the obligatory 2 basic modules, can also follow additional modules in order to close the GAP.

This course is meant for people with some experience as a planner in the industry, construction and engineering. The objective of this course is to increase the knowledge of technically trained people in order to provide them with sufficient experience to be able to carry out the job of work planner well. All elements of the profession are addressed. We will specifically pay attention to the disciplines of Costcontrols and Planning. Because these are elementary knowledge areas in a project that make a project successful or not. At the end of the course, the participants are able to prepare the work for maintenance, turnarounds and projects in a different way than they are used to.
