For our client we are looking for a multidisciplinary project leader for one of our maintenance locations in Zeeland. Our client offers multidisciplinary maintenance to various customers within the petrochemical industry.
As a project leader, you are responsible for the daily multidisciplinary work at their clients in Vlissingen. This can vary from mechanical, civil and cleaning activities. You are responsible for the adequate management, the daily supervision of the various disciplines and the correct execution of all projects. For this you directly manage the operational organisation that consists of the (main) executives, work preparation and the workshop (55fte).
What does this job entail?
- Actively representing and presenting our client to the customer
- Ensuring good control of financial results
- Creating permanent attention for new developments and improvements within the organisation
- Ensuring good contract management and relationship management (Multi-level stakeholder management)
- Supervising the correct implementation of and compliance with quality, safety and environmental matters in accordance with the existing procedures and regulations for this purpose
- Structuring the operational processes in an ad hoc project environment and preparing, supporting and executing operational work as necessary
- Initiating commercial/business development trajectories that should lead to growth in your region (current and new clients).
Job requirements
- You have an HBO work and thinking level
- You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role and experience with maintenance in the petrochemical industry
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical, cleaning and/or civil engineering is definitely a plus.
- You are entrepreneurial, customer-oriented and analytical and have a large dose of problem-solving capabilities
- You have good communication skills
- You are stress resistant and have a hands-on mentality
